Printing Tips

Silk-like PLA generally prints best slightly hotter and slower than standard PLA.
Reducing outer-wall speed can improve gloss, surface finish, and layer adhesion.
Because silk additives can reduce layer adhesion compared with standard PLA, this material is best suited for decorative and visual parts rather than heavily loaded structural components.
For stronger parts, increase wall count, use adequate infill, print slightly hotter, and avoid excessive part cooling.
Store the spool sealed and dry when not in use to maintain clean extrusion and surface quality.
