Installation Guidance

- Heat the insert gradually with a soldering iron or dedicated heat-set tip.
- Press the insert straight into the part without excessive force.
- Stop when the insert is flush or positioned at the intended depth.
- Allow the plastic to cool completely before installing a screw.
Important Notes
Test fit and installation temperature on a scrap print before installing into a finished part. Excessive heat or pressure can deform the surrounding plastic. Installation settings vary by material, wall thickness, insert style, and printer calibration.
