This is an awesome upgrade that can automate your shopvac.

  • Universal control voltage 3-60VDC or 12-120VAC connects to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PIC or other micro. Or connect directly to a 12V to 48VDC or even 120VAC circuit.

  • High voltage wiring and safety hazards are eliminated.

  • A single input signal switches four outlets: one normally on, one normally off.

  • Optical isolation, relay hysteresis and de-bounce protection add safety.

  • A large MOV clamps surges for clean  90-140VAC power.

  • The durable SPDT control relay is rated at 30/40A, >400,000 operations at 12A or 2 million+ operations at 5A.

  • A 12A thermal safety circuit breaker switch prevents overloads.

  • Standard 24" C-13 detachable cord included free, cords up to 25' are optional.

  • Version 2 adds higher isolation voltage, un-switched outlet and mounting tabs.

Other Considerations

1. In case you've lost it... we do have replacement IoT plugs available.

Air cooled spindle

I used a router for 10 years. At the time this system wasn’t available. If it was knowing what I know now I would have bought it in a heartbeat. Interfaces with my Onefinity CNC effortlessly. I have the 120volt unit and it has plenty of power to cut anything. 2 hour cut this morning and was cool to the touch. Excellent support if you have questions. Ditch the loud router you won’t be disappointed.

Saves My Back

I use the IoT Power Strip to automatically turn on my liquid chiller when my spindle start. The chiller is located under my CNC table so it saves my back from having to bend over and reach under the table to turn the chiller on or off. I don’t know I lived without one.

PwnCNC IoT Power Strip

If you’re using PwnCNC spindle kit the IoT Power Strip is a must have item. As the spindle ramps up my vacuum powers up as does my WIFI camera. More importantly the vacuum shuts down shortly after the spindle winds down, i.e., your signal the toolpath is complete. Install was super simple with my unit up and running literally in minutes.

I have not used the motor and drive yet, just getting it set up. But, it looks great. Hopefully I will get it ready in about two weeks.
